Hi! I am trained birth and postpartum doula by Blissful Birthing TN. I am also Christian, a homeschooling mother, a wife, a sister, a friend, and a person who strongly believes in the power of a respected, supported, and loved birth. I was born and raised in Brazil. Today I am married to my wonderful husband Bryan who is an American veteran, and we have a 7-year-old daughter who keeps us smiling and busy. We live in the Music City, and we love it here!
I decided to become a DOULA because I saw that women were losing their voices when it came to birth. I want women to feel loved, respected, educated, to have a choice, and a voice. I believe in natural birth and in natural ways to overcome fear, pain, and sickness. But I also believe in respecting people’s choices. I believe in the power of families coming together making birth a beautiful and peaceful memory. I believe moms, dads, and babies deserve that.
I have a strong understanding and passion for different cultures, languages, and world perspectives. And when it comes to labor and birth I want women to feel like their wishes and traditions are being honored and respected. Birthing is such a unique, spiritual, emotional, and physical experience, and women don’t have to go through it alone. As a doula I am here to give you my whole heart and support you in all you need. Women need other women alongside them encouraging and loving them through this journey. You can do this momma!
My heart is in educating families about pregnancy, labor, and birth. I am also here to provide you the peace, love, and support you need during birth and also after you bring your baby home.
I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish and I also have a B.A in International Studies.
I can’t wait to meet you!
