Hello, families! I began my journey into birthwork by training and certifying with Cornerstone from 2021-2022. After working for years as a teacher and nanny, I felt drawn to doula work because I saw the ways in which birthing parents and their partners so often lacked compassionate, knowledgeable support in the postpartum period. My training positioned birthworkers as advocates and support persons, and I strive to both bridge the gap in postpartum support and work toward positive outcomes for families in my community.
As part of my work, I also provide Sibling Doula support. With a hybrid background of nanny work and birthwork, I feel confident being able to step in to care for siblings during the birthing process. I provide age-appropriate education about the process, as well as keep the child(ren) happy and cared for as the family transitions into their new life together.
In my free time, I enjoy vegan baking, hiking and camping, and spending time with my senior pets, Emmitt and Minerva.
I believe that all families deserve nonjudgmental, empathetic, evidence-based support, and my approach is to meet families where they are and work together as a team to help promote healing and improve well-being in the postpartum period. I aim to be a source of knowledge and compassionate support for my clients, making sure that their questions get answered and that they can feel confident and at-ease as they embark on their journey into parenthood.

- • Newborns and up
