Throughout my life, God has helped me overcome situations that included abusive family, pre-teen pregnancy & loss, PTSD, and depression. For many years I hid and kept these things secret. I’ve learned to accept everything that has happened, grow from it, and use it to help others in their vulnerability. I’ve always believed in being Christ-like, to recognize others, and ask Him to work through me so I can help ease others’ pain or fears. Christ is my strength and my comfort.

Through birth work I find so much joy in helping women in their vulnerable state where they are “going to the other world, fetching their baby, touching the face of God, and enduring bringing them back” (quote from Scottish folklore). I believe that birth is sacred and special, and that women deserve to be supported and loved through it all. Even if I’m not physically right next to you throughout your whole pregnancy, I hope you can remember that I’ve always got your back, and that I’m just a phone call or text away to being right at your side (or a respectful distance).
